Do you have a unique Chess set? We’re looking for the most original and unique chess sets and boards around. So start diggin’ through your closets, attics, or storage boxes! Submit a photo of your chess set to the Zone to enter the competition. The first-place winner receives an imported wood-carved clock autographed by Kasparov. The second-place winner receives a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com and the official Internet Gaming Zone prize package. And the third-place winner receives a Zone pack.

Chess Beginner’s Workshop Session 2
Missed the first workshop? Don't know how to play chess but want to learn? Then participate in our Chess Beginner's Workshop on the Zone! Come to the Beginner's Workshop game room, grab a chair at a table, wait for another player to join you, and start playing. One of our chess instructors, LearnChess@zone, will be online from 6 to 8 P.M. Pacific Time, moving from table to table, making suggestions and showing strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to learn chess online, and it's FREE!
